Presenting The Starcutter Diligence

The Starcutter Diligence was made for an online modeling contest from Starship Modeler. It was for Battlestar Galactica inspired entries. I didn't place but learned a lot about detailing and had a lot of fun making her. Hope you enjoy the slide show below. Be sure to crank up the volume for the original Galactica theme.

Somewhere Out There

It swept across the cosmos,
through a star strangled sea.
Encountered many a wonder,
of things that could not be.

It darted by a comet,
and passed right through it's tail.
Then it scraped the rings of Saturn,
leaving a wake to mark it's trail.

It angled it's way toward Pluto,
at breakneck speed it tore.
With only intention to pay respect,
to a planet that was no more.

Then with a blast it started home,
leaving ethereal realms behind.
Reality now does settle in
to replace the fantasies of my mind.
