Named for a ship commanded by fictional Captain Horatio Hornblower. This ship was inspired by TOS styling and the post MP ship USS Stargazer (former command of Picard's). I've always liked the "over and under" nacelle placement on the Constellation class vessels. I went with only two nacelles on this one. I figured with the size of the saucer, four would be overkill. I did taper the nacelles on the end a bit as a nod to the new designs in the Abramsverse. I built this ship about two years ago. Not as much detail as on my newer ones. As always it's of solid wood with cardboard detailing.
