I had this big idea of building small palm sized starships to fill a market niche. The roll play gaming community uses small model ships (mostly resin cast) to fill out their "fleets". I thought "surely they'll embrace my hard work and wood creations." Didnt happen. Most of the comments I got were "Wow those would make great tree ornaments." Oh well. I havent given up yet. I'm getting better at detailing so maybe I'll try again someday. The ones pictured in this post, however, did find an appreciative audience. I gave them to my son who now whizzes them around the space battlefields of his imagination.
